Vault was able to provide the first FDA authorized saliva-based test for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, to our communities. We offer both virtual and onsite tests to our patients.

Given Vault’s proven expertise with broad-based COVID testing and the great need for assistance with COVID vaccinations, we are helping various municipalities with vaccine programs.

The Opportunity:

Vault Health offers COVID vaccinations to Rochester, MN residents in accordance with county and state policies. We are looking for advanced practice clinicians to be on-site to evaluate and manage all patients receiving vaccinations. This involves assisting our vaccinators as needed with providing vaccines, answering clinical questions from the vaccinators or patients, helping to oversee vaccination efforts, checking in with each patient to answer their questions and observe the patients for 15-30 minutes after receiving the vaccine. The clinician will help to evaluate and manage any side effects from the vaccine under the supervision of the clinical site lead.


Site leadership for all APC’s (MD/DO’s, NP’s and PA’s) onsite who have the following job description: Seeing patients immediately after their vaccination Talking to the patient about their pertinent medical history, educating them on possible side effect and monitoring them for any side effects Evaluate patients onsite. Create and review chart notes for patient care and insurance purposes. Provide patient education. Treat patient for any signs and symptoms while on site. Assessing patients for possible anaphylaxis. Referring patients to emergency medical services as necessary. Performing Basic Life Support if needed Filling in for vaccinators if needed Helping to manage flow of patients if needed Review charting by vaccinators and onsite APC clinicians Evaluating appropriateness of care by vaccinators and APC clinicians Direct patient care answering questions, evaluating for potential side effects and anaphylaxis, managing any ill effects from the vaccine, educating patients and other clinicians Filling in as needed for any other clinician including vaccinators Coordinating operations with site operations lead; helping to monitor and track vaccine supply and helping as needed with reporting requirements Making sure staffing is sufficient and appropriate for expected patient volumes Assisting in set-up and organization of vaccine site Train new vaccinators and APCs on all aspect of care Continuous quality improvement oversight Managing all clinicians on site including overall supervision of clinical care as well as managing aspects of work by all clinical staff such as scheduling and coordinating breaks, provision of vaccine to staff and training on any new policies. Reports to Regional or National Medical Director Basic Qualifications:

Holds a valid and current Minnesota license as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in clinical practice as an NP, MD or DO. Up-to-date BLS certificate Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience utilizing electronic medical records.
