Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist to join its practice at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida.

  • HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is part of HCA, the leading healthcare provider in the state, and the only facility in the area offering a PICU
  • 6-bed PICU with an average of 425 annual admissions
  • 15-bed pediatric floor with approximately 1,200 annual admissions
  • Team of Pediatric Intensivists and Pediatric Hospitalists
  • 14 shifts per month, in-house from 8am - 5pm, with evening call from home
  • Our affiliated team of Neonatologists cover the NICU and the Newborn Nursery
  • State of the art equipment including CT, EKGs and MRI
  • Various ventilation methods, including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA, SIMV, CPAP and HFNC; as well as iNO
  • Services include pediatric emergency room, cardiac monitors designed specifically for children, pulmonary function testing, pediatric rehabilitation services and a child-life specialist
  • On-site pediatric subspecialty support includes surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthamology, otolaryngology, craniofacial/plastic surgery and anesthesia. Full complement of telehealth subspecialty support is also available.
