Gastroenterologist – Interventional & General | St. Anthony Hospital (Lakewood, CO)

Position Overview

Common Spirit Health is seeking a Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist to support its growing GI service line across multiple facilities in the Denver metro area. This role includes both general GI and interventional procedures, with a focus on high-acuity inpatient consults and outpatient continuity.

Clinical Scope

Interventional GI Duties:

• ERCP, EUS with FNA/Biopsy
• EMR, ESD, POEM, deep enteroscopy
• Bariatric endoscopy, stenting
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with surgery, oncology, radiology, and pathology

General GI Duties:

• Routine scopes and consults
• Inpatient rounding and outpatient follow-up
• GI emergencies and procedural support

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active CO medical license (or IMLC eligibility)
• Proficiency in advanced endoscopic procedures (for interventional candidates)
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Willingness to work across multiple sites as needed
