Comprehensive Burn and Wound Specialists is seeking a Burn and Wound Surgeon to join our team at Miami Valley Hospital, the area’s only level 1 trauma center and multidisciplinary adult burn center.

About the Position:

• MVH’s Burn unit has 10 mixed acuity beds (ICU or advanced care), an isolated ventilation system, special heat controls in each room and two specialized treatment rooms built to OR specifications.
• Supported by a team of four advanced practice providers, the ideal candidate will have effective leadership skills and the desire to be mentored into a leadership role within the burn and wound department.

Additional details:

· Burn: Wound Ratio - 4 wound consults to every burn consult

Job Requirements:

· Burn fellowship trained

o General Surgery Trauma trained in Burn Fellowship

o Plastic Surgeon with Burn Fellowship

· Board Certified/Board Eligible

· American Trained, US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status
