University of Miami - Cognitive Neurology

Comprehensive Center for Brain Health (research-focused clinical faculty):

• Strong clinical and research background in the areas of clinical-translational research in Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology Diseases
• Two half-day sessions of outpatient clinics in cognitive neurology are required per week.
• No General Neurology clinical activity is required.
• Heavy emphasis placed on the design and implementation of independent research protocols

Requirements:

• MD degree from a recognized accredited University (or foreign equivalent, must be certified for clinical work in the US.)
• Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology fellowship preferred
• Board certification in Neurology is strongly recommended
• Eligible for Florida Medical License

Compensation:

• Assistant Professor Base Salary: $210,000 per year
• Sign on and relocation bonuses
• Grant money available through Comprehensive Center for early-career researchers
