  • Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Hyperbaric, and Sleep Medicine is seeking a board eligible/board certified Interventional Pulmonologist to expand our division.

    The position will include clinical duties in the thoracic oncology outpatient clinic, inpatient interventional pulmonology consult service, and medical intensive care unit. Approximately 15% protected time will be provided for scholarly endeavors.

    The Interventional Pulmonology Service, as part of the Advanced Lung Disease Center and Cancer Institute, is integral to the institution’s care of patients with thoracic disease. It oversees the thoracic oncology clinic and thoracic tumor board, has a collegial and collaborative relationship with thoracic surgery and oncology specialties, and provides inpatient consultation and procedural services typical of a tertiary- interventional pulmonology practice. These include, among others, robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy and associated therapeutic applications, and various pleural procedures including medical thoracoscopy. Advanced practice providers assist with clinic, inpatient consultation, and procedural duties.

    We invite applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or above. Candidates should possess academic interests, a dynamic personality, and be board certified or eligible in Interventional Pulmonology, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. Experience or interest in Hyperbaric Medicine would be highly desirable.

    Compensation & Benefits

    The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $305,000 - $345,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
