Job Title: Physician - Gastroenterology

Duties:

• Evaluate and treat patients in ambulatory clinic settings.
• Perform Endoscopy procedures during scheduled block times and on call.

FTE:0.5 - 1

Required Procedures:

• ERCP
• EUS

Office Capabilities:

• Esophageal manometry
• Video capsule endoscopy
• Fibroscan (performed by clinical staff and interpreted by physicians)

EMR System: CERNER

Support Staff:

• Medical Receptionist
• Surgery Scheduler
• Medical Assistants
• Registered Nurse

Deal Breakers:

• No ERCP/EUS experience
• Cannot commit to at least one week (7 days) monthly

Shift Type:Varied

Shift(s) Description: Clinic and on-call

Weekend Requirements: YesYes

On-Call Requirements: Call will be shared each month

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology - Required
• AZ License or IMLC (LOQ in hand) - Required
• Completion of Residency/Fellowship - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
• Clean Malpractice History - Preferred
• Availability at the time of name clear - Required
