Quick Facts

• 3 - 5 shifts per week -- Monday-Friday 7am-7pm, 8am-8pm, or 2pm-8pm
• 12-hour shifts: 50 - 60 cases -- 6-hour shifts: 25 - 30 cases
• Patient mix: 50% internal medicine, 25% pediatrics, 25% specialty care
• Charting time included in shift hours
• Weekend shifts 8am-5pm
• Experience with fractures, sprains, and lacerations required
• Competency in eye problems, respiratory infections, and abdominal pain
• Treats all ages for various acute conditions
