Brandon Regional Hospital is looking for collegial Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians (BC/BE) to energize and grow a newly constructed 16 bed dedicated pediatric emergency department.

  • Brandon Regional Hospital is a 422-bed acute care hospital 20 minutes east of downtown Tampa. It is a full-service hospital with 5 freestanding Emergency Departments across the region.
  • The Pediatric ED offers 24 hours of physician coverage - (hours may vary during slow summer months). The hospital currently has 16 inpatient beds and an 8 bed PICU and has recently announced a construction project to greatly expand the Children's Hospital.

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellow to join our team at Kendall Regional Medical Center located in beautiful Miami, Florida.

ED Features:

  • Must have completed a PEM fellowship
  • 24,000 Pediatric ED visits per year (pre-Covid)

Pediatric ED Features:

  • 53,000 annual patient visits (35,000 Main ED; 18,000 Peds ED).
  • Palms West Children's Hospital features a 10-bed pediatric ED (14 Bed Adult ED)
  • Physician Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
  • Resident coverage with 3 surrounding residency programs and in-house Pediatric Residency Program

Applicants­ must have successfully completed at least 5 moderate sedation cases in the last 12 months without complication. Qualified candidates must be BC/BP Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians (having completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine) with current­ ACLS and PALS.­
