Locum Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Las Cruces, NM

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our large health system in Las Cruces, NM, to provide ongoing call coverage. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional looking for a dynamic, inpatient setting with a focus on adult patients.

Position: Locum Gastroenterologist

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Coverage Start: As soon as credentialed (Approximately 60-90 days)

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, 7 AM to 7 AM, Saturday through Friday

Duration: Ongoing, at least 1 week per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Coverage: Provide 24-hour call coverage, no clinic responsibilities.
• Patient Volume: Manage 15-25 patients per day.
• Skills Required: ERCP proficiency is essential.
• Setting: Inpatient care with a focus on adult patients.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active New Mexico medical license (no IMLC).
• Certification: Board Eligible (BE) accepted.
