Physician Assistant - Patient Support Center
Position Details* Example Schedule : Monday, Thursday, Friday 12p-8:30p, Saturday and Sunday 8:30a-5pm ( rotating weekend schedule) * 95% work from home, all equipment provided * Telecommute post training (2 weeks of onsite training in El Segundo and once a month meetings onsite in Torrance ) * Fielding ER calls from nurse triage out of Patient Support Center * Telemed acute care visits * Patient Support Center : 250 teammates and 20 nurse triage line * Option to work more hours if desired * Opportunity for growth
Requirements* Unrestricted California State Physician Assistant License * Master’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification beyond a four-year college * Current California DEA certificate * ESI, ACLS, BLS, PALS certification preferred, if not we will get you certified
Preferences* 2+ years of clinical practice experience * Urgent Care or ER experience strongly preferred * Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics * Proficiency in common medication indications, side effects, and contraindications * Confidence with clinical decision making over telephone visit * Medical or fluent Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese speaking ability
