The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center is expanding the Pediatric Pulmonology Department. We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist physician with BC/BE Pediatric Sleep Medicine to join our busy, dynamic Section of Pediatric Pulmonology.

Opportunity Highlights

  • • Provide outstanding inpatient and outpatient care
  • • Work with the four full time Pediatric Pulmonologists
  • • Dedicated and specialty trained nurses and respiratory therapists
  • • Pediatric Pulmonary Function and Sleep Laboratories
  • • Teaching medical students and residents
  • • Involvement in quality improvement initiatives
  • • Coordinate/work with interdisciplinary teams
  • • 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department and PICU in house attending coverage
  • • Research opportunities


  • • Active New Jersey medical license
  • • Excellent skills, both in patient care and teaching
  • • Team player, positive attitude, highly motivated
  • • Strong interpersonal skills
  • • Interpretation of sleep studies and pulmonary function tests
  • • Expertise in Pediatric flexible bronchoscopy
  • • Be eligible for faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine
