Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the Market President to lead a care delivery organization that provides coordinated, quality healthcare to over 100,000 Arizona citizens
  • Leads a robust team of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, social workers and other clinical staff, promotes collaboration with internal and external team members for the delivery of all health care as it relates to the use of resources, quality clinical care, and improved patient satisfaction
  • Responsible for executing both clinical and business goals and objectives as it relates toefficient healthcare delivery
  • Leads medical management strategy development and implementation to ensure that appropriate care and services provided to members meet best practice standards as well as regulatory compliance requirements
  • Supports overall regional and corporate goals to ensure continued growth and profitability
  • Oversees risk adjustment programs to ensure proper coding documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Responsible for ensuring engagement and satisfaction of network PCPs in the development and execution of strategies around the improvement of quality, cost and service
  • Works with the Physician Network Neighborhoods to promote best practices and evidence based care, provide transparency around performance and improve quality and financial outcomes by participating medical groups
  • Responsible for driving employee engagment and satification in all clinical teams
