Geisinger is seeking BC/BE hematologists oncologists to join a well-established cancer program at practices located in Central and Northeastern, PA. These are fantastic opportunities for new graduates or experienced hematologists oncologists. The hematology/oncology team collaborates with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and psychologists to develop a plan tailored to the individual patient to achieve the best possible outcome. Geisinger’s oncology research programs are anchored by the NCI Community Oncology Research Program cooperative agreement and the national commitment to cancer research in community settings. Geisinger has membership affiliations with Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, Children’s Oncology Group, EGOG-ACRIN, NRG Oncology, University of Rochester Cancer Center and Wake Forest. Palliative medicine services are also offered at each campus. Working with Geisinger’s Department of Oncology Innovation and Analytics, physicians have the opportunity to participate in the development of unique models of care, clinical tools and other research projects.
