Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to support it's Pediatrics departments in an integrated team based setting.  Nurse Practitioners work alongside Primary Care Providers in a fast paced, collaborative  practice that recognizes the patient as the central focus.

Our integrated Behavioral Health approach is setting the stage for innovative healthcare treatment for the future.  

Position responsibilities include:

  • Conduct clinical evaluations
  • Develop and implement care plans, which include prescribing and regularly evaluating and modifying as appropriate
  • Provide consultation to Primary Care Providers and other medical staff regarding behavioral health issues
  • Triage patients to the appropriate level of care

Position qualifications include:

  • Graduate of a State-approved masters level school of nursing with specialty focus in psychiatric nursing
  • Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts license and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with approved prescriptive practice for psychotropic medications, ability to perform comprehensive behavioral health assessments and treatment plans
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of postgraduate experience as a psychiatric nurse clinician, with one year of experience in an outpatient mental health setting preferred
  • Expertise in treatment of substance addiction and co-occurring disorders is a plus
  • Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR Certificate required or in process
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated success interacting sensitively with patients
  • Established written and oral communication skills; and demonstrated effectiveness in working collaboratively with health care providers
