Our well-established Infectious Disease practice is actively seeking a full time physician to join our physician & APP team in beautiful downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Position Features

• 95% Inpatient/5% Outpatient
• Mon through Fri – 10 hour shifts with 1:4 weekend rotation
• Support staff of NP, PA, RN, LPN, CSA, MOS, SBCS on site
• Teaching and Research opportunities available
• Infectious Disease Fellowship
• Active Transplant Service, Antibiotic Stewardship, Infection Control HIV Treatment inpatient only, no outpatient primary care HIV treatment
• Advanced Diagnostic Abilities including Microbiology lab, E Visits, Telemedicine
• Must be Proficient/Comfortable with EPIC EMR

Qualifications

• Education - Medical Degree (MD or DO) in Medicine Completion of Internal Medicine Residency Completion of Infectious Disease Fellowship
• Board Certified In Internal Medicine and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease Licenses
• M.D. or D.O. license from the State of Michigan Federal Narcotics License from the State of Michigan
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Specific to SHMG w/in 120 Days Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Specific to SHMG: ACLS required if stress test is performed or as required by specialty w/in 120 Days
