Hematology/Oncology Locums – Inpatient Focus (Malignant Heme Required)

Seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for full-time inpatient coverage (will consider part time). This role focuses on malignant hematology and includes a mix of scheduled inpatient work and call coverage.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday (day shifts) + call coverage as needed
• Setting: Hospital & Infusion Center
• Patient Volume: 30–40 patients per day
• Contract Length: 3–6 months, with potential to extend
• Start Date: ASAP (MN license required for quick start)
• Support Staff: Robust team including nurses, APPs, and infusion specialists

Clinical Scope:

• Primary focus on malignant hematology
• Manage inpatient Hem/Onc consults and infusion patients
• Provide comprehensive oncologic and hematologic care, including solid tumor management
• Participate in call rotation as needed

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Hematology and/or Oncology (required)
• License: Active Minnesota license or IMLC eligible (MN license required for emergency privileges)
• DEA & BLS: Required
• Experience: Prior inpatient malignant hematology experience strongly preferred
