Bradley Hospital, a teaching hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University has an exciting opportunity for a BC or BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Autism & Development Disability Inpatient Unit. The most comprehensive program of its kind and only 1 of 10 in the country you will treat patients ages 5-18 with co-occurring autism and psychiatric disorders with referrals come from across the country.
About the job:
· Join a team of 6 other psychiatrists
· 19 Bed inpatient unit
· Conduct assessments, develop, and implement medical plans
· Lead an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, nurses, therapists, special education teachers, nutritionists, and Board Certified Behavioral Health Analysts (BCBA)
· Part of a continuum care program that includes inpatient, partial, residential, in home and outpatient services
· Average inpatient stay is 28 days
· Academic appointment to Brown University
· Call from home 9 weeknights/year
· 5 weekends per year inpatient rounding
