Moonlighting Hospitalist

Seeking a BC/BE physician to work with a growing inpatient service at a vibrant 500-bed safety-net community hospital in Everett, Washington, about 30 miles north of Seattle. The team is composed of 80+ providers. The hospital has a robust multidisciplinary staff that supports all inpatient work, including subspecialists, pharmacists, social workers, respiratory and physical therapists, palliative care, etc. We are seeking physicians primarily interested in swing shifts, with a focus on admissions as their main responsibility. There may also be opportunities for day shifts, with an average daily census of 14-15 patients per shift.

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted WA State Medical License or ability to obtain prior to hire
  • Current WA DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to hire
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or ability to obtain prior to hire
  • EMR proficient
  • Proven positive attitude and solid work ethic
  • Proven self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence
  • Proven solid verbal and written communication skills

Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $165.00 to $200.00 per hour. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
