We are hiring for full-time swing and nocturnist physicians. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 24 physicians with the support of a clinical performance nurse at St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
  • Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who rely on and learn from one another in their approach to patient care.
  • We gather frequently for lunch and monthly for team meetings.
  • We proudly sponsor H-1B and J1 visa candidates, and Sound has excellent in-house visa specialists as well as licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees are paid, and services are covered by Sound.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • This position requires IM board certification or eligibility, with the expectation of obtaining certification.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in California.
  • We welcome interest from physicians coming out of training or physicians with experience desiring a career change.

**Practice in the Heart of the Community**

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Full-time Nocturnist opening.
  • Full-time swing Hospitalist opening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We work in an open ICU setting with 24/7 intensivist coverage. Our team is not required to do procedures.
  • We encourage our team to participate in hospital committees and the community.
  • For those who like to teach, we work with Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents.

Compensation Details
