Non-Operative Pediatric Orthopedist

Job Summary:
The Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation is recruiting a non-operative pediatric orthopedist to join our Pediatric Orthopedics division, which is comprised of two other non-operative faculty, four surgical faculty, four advanced practice providers and one fellow (non-operative pediatric orthopedics).
The department consists of over 50 faculty physicians and 50 advanced practice providers. Our orthopedic program has been consistently ranked #1 in Wisconsin and in the top 50 hospital programs in the United Stated by U.S. News & World Report.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties include providing clinical care with a focus on non-operative Pediatric Orthopedics at our clinical care sites within Dane County, as well as outreach sites throughout the state and region. Teaching of medical students, residents and fellows will be expected.
Additionally, for those appointed to the CHS track, academic responsibilities will include an active role teaching medial students, residents, and fellows. Academic duties and responsibilities beyond baseline clinical faculty expectations will depend upon individual interests and expertise. The Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation, the School of Medicine and Public Health, and the University of Wisconsin offer an exceptional environment in which to establish and grow a robust academic career.
