  • Location + Job Details  Location: North Eastern, LA   Credentialing: 60 days  Schedule: 7-10 24-hour shifts per month   Call: 24/7 call coverage   Details: Critical Access Hospital  ICU Beds: 5  Acute/Swing/ SNF: 20 beds   Average Daily Census: 6  Average Weekly Admissions: 14  Average Weekly Discharges: 13   Emergency Department Volume: 15,000/year  Subspecialty Support:  Telemedicine Neurology, Anesthesia, Nephrology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology   EMR: Cerner  ED Physician does procedures, leads codes, and responds to rapid response.   Acuity: Low to rehab type patients  Most common diagnosis: UTI HTN, CP  SNF patients are seen on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays unless their status changes.   Hospitalist rounds on each patient daily if their status changes   Morning huddle is at 9:30am and the charge nurse will typically round with the MD on all patients  Ancillary Support: RT, Lab, US, CT, MRI 

    Experience + Qualifications  New Grads welcome if you’re comfortable practicing autonomously   Active LA License or the ability to obtain
