Please Note: This position may be filled at either the Actuarial Analyst III or Associate Actuary level.  Manager will determine level based upon the selected applicant’s skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

The Actuarial Analyst III / Associate Actuary will complete more diverse and complicated projects, and performs complex actuarial studies.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing and reviewing state experience reports and data request.
  • Ability to train actuarial analysts.
  • Addresses any actuarial audits on experience reports or data reporting.
  • Completes special actuarial projects. 

Qualifications

  • Requires a BS/BA degree; required to have passed at least four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams; at least 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Excel required.
  • Requires a BS/BA degree; ASA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA); at least 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Excel required.
