Job Details
- Additional 5% increase in salary for each qualifying board certification up to two (2) Boards
- The Supervising Physician at our Ron Robinson Senior Care Center (RRSCC) will have the chance to oversee the top-notch delivery of comprehensive healthcare services tailored to meet the unique needs of older adults residing in San Mateo County.
- The Supervising Physician works in concert with manager and nursing leadership to lead local quality improvement work and program development in addition to direct on-site clinical work (50% direct patient care time), and supervision of the provider team.
This outpatient clinic is nestled on the first floor of San Mateo Medical Center, and provides a haven where seniors, family members, and caregivers can seek assistance for the diverse challenges faced by individuals aged 60 and above. This dedicated interdisciplinary team, consisting of doctors and specialists, focuses solely on optimizing the well-being of older adults, empowering them to lead healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives.
This FQHC clinic site is part of San Mateo Medical Center, a fully accredited acute/long-term care/teaching hospital whose vision is to help every patient live the healthiest life possible. Job Qualifications
Licensure/Certification: Education and Experience:
- License to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of California.
- Possession of a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Three years of experience in the designated medical specialty.
- Board Certification or eligibility for certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine or a related area is highly desirable.
- Communication and Consensus Building: Has had experience bringing diverse viewpoints and stakeholders together successfully to accomplish goals and commands the trust and respect others.
