Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetric, or diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthetics as necessary during surgical procedures.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, including patient history and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement anesthetic care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and patient recovery assessment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesiology.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Valid New York State licensure as a CRNA.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Strong understanding of anesthesia practices, techniques, and patient monitoring.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Preferred Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA in a hospital setting.
• Experience in various anesthetic procedures, including general, regional, and local anesthesia.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
