W.W. Hastings Hospital is a 60-bed inpatient hospital, it was assumed by Cherokee Nation on October 1, 2008. The continuity of care across the health system is now complete and is evidenced by tangible improvements to the facility and to service delivery as a whole. The Cherokee Nation recently opened a four-story, 469,000 square-foot outpatient health center on the Hastings campus.
Cherokee Nation Health Services has partnered with Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine to open the Nation's first tribally affiliated Medical School in Tahlequah, OK. The first medical school class consists of 50 students and classes began in the Fall of 2020.
