  • Lifespan Physician Group (LPG), is the largest multi-specialty group of physicians in Rhode Island and teaching partner of Brown University. Our growing academically oriented PM&R department has an opening for a board certified or eligible physiatrist with an interest in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Care. As a key member of the care team you will provide timely and appropriate access for the primary care provider’s patients by decreasing unnecessary utilization of procedures, imaging, medications, and surgical procedures, and the development of primary and secondary prevention programs for MSK issues. 

    The details:

    • Address prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of traumatic spinal cord injury and nontraumatic etiologies of spinal cord dysfunction
    • Provide care on a lifelong basis, including related medical, physical, psychological, and vocational disabilities and complications
    • Champion the transdisciplinary approach, providing evidence-based and goal-directed care across all environments
    • Partner with education, social, and community services
