*Must be able to work 2 or more shifts/month to credential

*A provider can work 2, 24 hr shifts in a row, but most providers typically work only 24 or 36 hours at a time (Ex: 24 hr on, off)

Shift Times: 24 hrs, 7a-7a

​

Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days

Job Details:

• Inpatient - no clinic
• This role is an extension of the clinic. Assigned patients
• The hospital has its own OB Hospitalists who will cover patients outside of the group's patients that come through the ED
• The group delivers 100 babies a month (3-4 deliveries per shift)
• Locum will be delivering the group's babies and rounding on women in labor and delivery and postpartum
• No emergent GYN procedures (hospital group covers this)
• No Midwives
• Epic EMR
• For credentialing, they require 25 deliveries and 25 C-sections in the past 12 months
• All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance is covered
