The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting an academic pediatric pulmonologist.
The position is open at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in Health Science Clinical or the Clinical X Series in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Department of Pediatrics.
The person in this position will join a thriving pulmonary practice that includes a cystic fibrosis center, a growing sleep medicine practice and an active bronchoscopy service.
Children with a wide variety of chronic lung disease are cared for including children requiring home ventilation. In addition, the division members collaborate with aerodigestive, pulmonary hypertension as well neuromuscular clinical services.
Candidates will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, research activities of the Department of Pediatrics, and serve on departmental committees. Pediatric pulmonologists with experience or interest in sleep disorders are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must have the following experience/qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O.
- Board certification/eligibility in General Pediatrics
- Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Eligibility for a California Medical License
- Ability to foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment
