Children's Mercy Kansas City is recruiting a full-time board certified/board eligible general pediatrician or board certified/board eligible pediatric hospitalist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with strong clinical skills and an interest in academic medicine.
About the position:
- The candidate will participate in clinical, educational, and quality improvement initiatives within the Division
- The Division is made up of greater than 40 physicians and 6 hospital medicine fellows.
- The clinical practice is primarily at our tertiary care facility at our Children's Mercy Kansas campus, which is located in a suburb of Kansas City.
- Children's Mercy Kansas serves a breadth of pediatric diagnoses with lower acuity than our main campus.
- Clinical service on this campus offers a complementary clinical experience, featuring a professionally stimulating, direct interaction with pediatric professionals in our busy on-site pediatric emergency department, as well as in our community referral area.
