We seek a dedicated and skilled Movement Disorders Staff Neurologist to join our unique Neurology Department, contributing to our mission with compassion and expertise.
Our West Los Angeles VAMC Staff Movement Disorder Neurologist plays a crucial role in providing day-to-day care to our Veteran patients. You will work in inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting face-to-face encounters or using telehealth modalities. Your duties will include performing neurologic procedures, such as Botulinum toxin administration and Deep Brain Stimulation programming and assimilating the results of diagnostic studies into the formulation of differential diagnosis and treatment plans. As a teaching facility, you will also provide supervision and mentorship to other physicians, healthcare professionals, medical students, residents, and fellows in neurological disorders and their treatments.
Work Schedule: Mon-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (some flexibility considered)
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Education: Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine
- Must be LCME accredited or approved by the Commission on Osteopathic College of Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association
- Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Residency: Must have completed residency in an accredited core specialty
- ACGME or AOA or
- Other residencies (non-US residency training programs followed by a minimum five years of verified practice in the US); must be approved by the local Medical Staff Executive Committee.
- Must be Board Certified or eligible in Neurology
- Movement Disorders Fellowship required

- Competitive Salary Range: $235,000-$300,000, Final Salary determination within this range.
