Mass General Cancer Center Community Faculty Position – Medical Director

The Mass General Cancer Center seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologists or oncologists/hematologists for the Medical Director of the Mass General Cancer Center at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, and Portsmouth, NH. In addition to the Mass General Cancer Center Hematology/Oncology practice at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, there is onsite radiation oncology and surgery. While in the community, this position will have strong oversight and connections to the Mass General Cancer Center campus in Boston.

Interested candidates should have a record of success in the clinical care of hematology/oncology patients. Confidence working in a community environment, and dedication and willingness to participate and lead a multidisciplinary care setting are essential. Candidates should be caring, compassionate, willing to involve patients and families in the decision-making process, and able to coordinate care with colleagues in various departments. Candidates must also be motivated to work with leadership teams in the community and the Boston campus to build community programs. Physicians with New Hampshire and Massachusetts licensure preferred but not required.
