  • Alan Shikani MD, FACS did his residency and fellowship training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and is currently chief of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the, chief of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the Union Memorial Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He is also director of the Maryland Nose and Sinus Rhinology Fellowship program. Dr. Shikani is an active member of many societies including the Alpha Omega Honor Medical Society, the Triologic society, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and the American Rhinological Society. He is the winner of the prestigious Maurice H. Cottle Award presented by the American Rhinological. Dr. Shikani holds twenty one patents in his name either individually or as a co-inventor and has published numerous articles and book chapters in the field of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck surgery.
