I completed Internal Medicine Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona and am ABIM Board Certified. I am currently completing my Integrative Medicine Fellowship from the University of Arizona. I work as a Primary Care Provider for the HonorHealth Medical Group in Glendale, AZ.
I value the longitudinal relationships that develop in the primary care setting. I approach my practice with curiosity and authenticity with each patient. I use multiple tools such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy to create a safe space where my patients can feel comfortable discussing personal goals and values. I help them facilitate the solidification of these goals, and through this work we can then make significant impacts on their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. This method is highly effective because patients become stakeholders in their own health, and are empowered to make positive changes in their lives so that their actions become a reflection of their values.
It's tremendously gratifying and humbling to do this work. But the outcome is worth it every time.
We use this as a foundation for patients to have the confidence in themselves to impact positive changes to optimize medical, physical, emotional, and spiritual health and well-being. In doing so, patients access the invaluable skill of learning to live their most authentic life, and not just survive it, but thrive in it with joy and curiosity.
