- Dr. Karkare's main practice interests are primary and revision knee and hip replacement. He performs hip replacement surgery utilizing an anterior approach that allows the surgery to be performed in a muscle sparing manner. He also specializes in fracture care and limb reconstruction. Dr. Nakul Karkare is one the few orthopedic surgeons in the country trained in metabolic bone disorders that include osteoporosis.
