Summary

  • In 2016, I completed my residency at the Icahn School of Medicine (South Nassau) and went on to do a Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at University of Nevada, Reno.

    It is a true honor and privilege to serve not only as the Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine (South Nassau) but also as an educator to our future generations. There is no other field of medicine which helps so many diverse patient populations, treats countless medical conditions, and has an everlasting impact on families and communities. For more than 50 years, our tradition of patient care, education, and community service continue to be pillars that have led well over 500 physicians to be the pinnacle of their communities.

    Our recent partnership with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has only strengthened our healthcare system’s continuing impact for our community. Our reach has continued to grow as our residents now have unrivaled access to the vast resources that help us provide world class healthcare. As our new partnership has enabled our ability to provide an unparalleled education, our mission and focus remains; to train excellent primary care physicians within a work environment that fosters growth.

    Instead of a one size fits all program, we focus on a diverse training environment tailored to nurture individual career goals. Our comprehensive interdisciplinary education in Family Medicine includes focus on a broad curriculum with meaningful rotational experiences presented through a diverse and committed faculty. All our teaching faculty, including our specialist preceptors, are trained and devoted to providing an evidence based graduate medical education that engages residents, giving an accurate and transparent view into many career fields and possibilities. Our alumni network further expands the career guidance we offer and provides invaluable insights that can help you hone your future career.
