Summary

• I graduated with honors from Binghamton University with a BS in Biochemistry and completed my medical education at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. I did my surgical transitional year at Flushing Medical Center and completed ophthalmology training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospitals in NYC where I served as a chief resident in the last year of training. I then completed ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Boston Medical Center.
  My areas of interest include repair of droopy eyelids, in-turning or out-turning of lower lids; evaluation of tearing and tear duct disorders; excision of lesions and reconstruction of eyelids, evaluation and repair of orbital fractures; diagnosis and management of tumors of eye socket, and evaluation and treatment of thyroid eye disease. I also specialize in a variety of cosmetic procedures such as removal of wrinkled eyelid skin and bulging fat, Botox injections for treating unwanted creases and wrinkles, and cosmetic fillers for facial lines and lip augmentation.
  I am a member of American Academy of Ophthalmology and New York State Ophthalmological Society and have presented my clinical research at various ophthalmological meetings.
