Dr. Chana completed his undergraduate education at The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA with a BS degree in Economics with a concentration in Health Care Management. He then completed his Medical Degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. His residency was completed at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where he received the Excellence in Teaching Award (2005). He then completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA where he was elected chief cardiology fellow. Lastly, he finished his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Chana has published several articles in various cardiology publications, and participated in multiple clinical investigations. He has also traveled to underserved areas in Bolivia, Spain, India & Haiti to provide care to a wide variety of patient populations and varying delivery systems.
In addition to this list of impressive credentials, Dr. Chana possesses a keen intellect, a passion for clinical cardiology and a driving enthusiasm for providing excellent cardiovascular care to his patients. During his free time, Dr. Chana enjoys world travel, international politics, golf, jogging and spending time with his wife and son.
