- I am a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship trained in surgical critical care and acute burn surgery in both adult and pediatric patients. At the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), I am an Assistant Professor within the Department of Surgery, Division of Burns, Trauma, and Acute Care Surgery. I am also an acute burn surgeon and critical care consultant at Shriners Children’s Texas Hospital in Galveston.
