Summary

I am an internationally recognized specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of Tourette and associated conditions in youth and adults. I am a board certified psychiatrist and Professor of Psychiatry at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell with many years of experience in education and training of health care professionals. I have conducted phases 2-4 clinical trials, have been an investigator collaborating in a number of multi-site genetic and clinical trials, a member of the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium and the Tourette Association Clinical Trials Consortium, and have published widely and lectured nationally and overseas to both professional and lay audience. I served in the National Medical Advisory Board for the Tourette Association of American for 15 years and am current an Advisory Board member for the Long Island Tourette Association, Long Island CHADD and the Tourette Alliance of Northern Ireland. I provide consultation and ongoing treatment for Tourette and other neuropsychiatric conditions.
