Dr. Charles W. Mango is a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College - New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist whose clinical practice involves the medical and surgical management of vitreo-retinal disorders. He is actively involved as a teaching professor in the vitreo-retinal fellowship training program at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Mango completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College - New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York. He has also completed a two-year fellowship in vitreo-retinal disease and surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute - University of California Los Angeles.

Dr. Mango has published in major scientific journals and has authored multiple textbook chapters. He is actively involved in scientific research projects. His prior research interests include robotic ocular surgery and evaluation of electronic advances in the field of retina.

Dr. Mango has been a lecturer at national and international meetings. He has participated as a principal investigator and co-investigator in multiple clinical trials. He has co-founded and currently serves on the board of trustees for the Vit-Buckle Society. He contributes as a reviewer to major scientific journals and continues to serve on the editorial board for the official journal of the American Society of Retina Specialists.
