Summary
- Dr Damian Brezinski has had a long and illustrious medical career. He graduated Sir William Osler Valedictorian from Johns Hopkins Medical School and moved on to Harvard Medical School where he trained in the Clinical Research Medical Program. After a brief time training in Europe he went to Duke University Medical Center for Cardiology Fellowship.
Ultimately that led him to Wilmington NC where he proudly served in the Department of Cardiology of Wilmington Health Associates for almost 25 years.
Upon his retirement from WHA, he has worked full time on Keep the Beat Alive, a 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to cutting the incidence of cardiac death among entertainment touring professionals.
Now with his wife Suzie Brezinski RN, he has opened Island Cardiology, a solo cardiology practice dedicated to caring for Southeastern NC and the music community that he has had the privilege to serve for over two decades. Looking forward to working with you again!
