Summary

  • I am a board certified psychiatrist who completed my training in 2009 and have a clinical appointment at the University of Colorado. Prior to my psychiatry practice, I was a board certified Neurosurgeon in private practice when I developed a visual problem which stopped my surgical practice. In my psychiatry practice, I am interested in the overlap of psychiatric and medical diagnosis and I incorporate the maturation of character and identity development in the healing process. I work with patients to achieve their goals and strive to use a combination of medications and therapy to prioritize a positive outcome taking into account the patients objectives and values.
