  • I am a movement disorders neurologist at the University of California San Diego where I am a clinician scientist and movement disorders fellowship program co-director. I received my medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons with residency and fellowship training in Movement disorders at the University of Pennsylvania. I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of Movement Disorders (Parkinson's Disease, essential tremor, atypical parkinsonian syndromes, dystonia, ataxia, chorea etc) and am proficient in the administration of botlinum toxin and managing deep brain stimulation. My research interest is in the neuropathology of movement disorders specifically using novel image analysis techniques on post mortem tissue to discern patterns of spread of pathology in neurodegenerative disease and relating these measures to clinical, imaging, and CSF measurements collected during life.
