Summary

  • I am a fellowhip-trained orthopaedic oncologist and manage both pediatric and adult patients with bone and/or soft-tissue tumors. I serve as the Vice-Chair of Strategy and Innovation for the Orthopaedic Surgery Department as well as the Co-Director for the Division of Orthopaedic Oncology. I am engaged on the national level in numerous organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society among others. I routinely mentor orthopaedic residents and fellows and am involved in medical school education as well.

Our division is comprised of many providers, researchers and support staff - all of whom are dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of bone and soft-tissue tumors. Our overarching aim is to care for patients with empathy and respect, bringing to bear any and all of the technological advancements and cutting edge therapeutics available. We also run a research effort, designed to find better solutions for some of the most challenging orthopaedic oncology related issues, with the hope of improving outcomes for both our patients here at Montefiore and beyond.
