Dr. Diana Galindo heads the Section of Geriatrics at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, FL and also directs its Geriatrics Fellowship program . She received her medical degree from University of the Philippines College of Medicine and has been in practice 41 years. She finished her Internal Medicine Residency in St Mary's Hospital in Waterbury ( an affiliate of Yale University) and completed her Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of Miami School of Medicine . She is experienced in comprehensive geriatric assessments and in managing complex geriatric issues (eg. dementia, falls, gait disorders, urinary incontinence, frailty). In addition to the fellowship she is active in teaching medical students and Internal medical residents. She has co authored several books in Geriatrics and has actively lectured in national and international settings.
She is past national president of the American Medical Women's Association and is active in the American Geriatrics Society and the Medical Women's International Association.
