Summary
- I am a board certified urologist with clinical and research focus on prostate and kidney cancer. To date, I have performed over 2200 robotic prostatectomies and 200 laparoscopic/robotic nephrectomies. My clinical and research interest is in high-risk and metastatic prostate cancer with the focus on the role of surgery. In addition, I am investigating treatment resistance mechanism in prostate cancer and have jointly developed candidate molecules that target the androgen signaling pathway. My research activity has resulted in more than 190 publications and funding support from the Department of Defense and various philanthropic organizations.
