Overview of Dr. Fontaine

Dr. Jacques-Pierre Fontaine is a thoracic surgeon at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. He is a Senior Member and Professor at University of South Florida. He is the Director for Moffitt's Thoracic Surgery Fellowship Program.

He received his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1997. He completed a General Surgery residency at Boston University and Thoracic Surgery at Brigham & Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School in 2006.

He been in practice since 2006. He speaks multiple languages, including Arabic, Spanish, and French. He specializes in general thoracic surgery - specifically cancer. He has developed an expertise in robotic lung and esophageal surgery.
