Summary

  • I am a board certified emergency physician currently working at George Washington University. I serve in several roles, including being the Director of the Office for Clinical Practice Innovation, and run Urgent Matters (www.urgentmatters.org), a group dedicated to researching and disseminating best practices for emergency care. I also work as a health services researcher, and also consult with several local Washington, DC area groups (CMS, NQF, AHRQ, and CDC in various capacities). My research interests are in emergency care quality, diagnostic testing, and improving access to high quality acute care for all Americans.
