Dr. John Carl is the Center Head of Cleveland Clinic Children's Center for Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine. Primary practice at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, with additional practice sites including Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation, Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, Hillcrest Hospital, and Ashtabula County Medical Center. He received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and has been in practice 32 years. He specializes in all aspects of Pediatric Pulmonology, with special interest and experience in asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, bronchoscopy, congenital airway and lung anomalies, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary function testing, pulmonary hypertension, and aerodigestive conditions of children with special health care needs. He is involved in maternal and child health advocacy issues on local, regional, and national levels.
